| Venteo | Venting | Provision for gases to leave the cavity. |
| Colada caliente | Hot runner | Heated melt delivery system. |
| Rebaba | Flash | Unwanted material protruding at a gap. |
| Llenado incompleto | Short shot | Part whose geometry is incompletely filled. |
| Rechupe superficial | Sink mark | Localized surface depression. |
| Alabeo | Warpage | Deviation from the intended shape. |
| Línea de unión | Weld line | Region where flow fronts meet. |
| Síntoma | Symptom | Observed manifestation; not equivalent to a cause. |
