Who it is for and what is included
Mold technicians and maintenance leads.
Level: Basic. Includes instructions, recording fields, a fictional example and reference sources.
How to use it
- Identify the mold, revision, date, inspector and inspection condition. Read the manual and safety procedure before access.
- Inspect accessible, authorized areas only. Do not disassemble or energize equipment to complete this checklist.
- For each item select acceptable, finding, not inspected or not applicable. Record the documented criterion; a checked box does not certify fitness for service.
- Link every finding to a location, photograph, proposed action, owner and date. Release requires an authorized decision.
Fictional example
FICTIONAL: mold DEMO-01; a stain is observed next to cooling connection C2. Photo DEMO-01-C2-01. Status: finding. This does not establish an active leak. Action: request an authorized check; release pending.
Scope and limitations
General visual and documentation aid. Does not replace functional tests, manuals or a safety assessment.
