Repair intervention and follow-up

Link completed work to authorization, verification and subsequent performance.

Who it is for and what is included

Mold shops, engineering teams and release authorities.

Level: Intermediate. Includes instructions, recording fields, a fictional example and reference sources.

How to use it

  1. Link the intervention to the original event and document initial condition, scope and authorization.
  2. Record operations actually performed, replaced parts and applicable documents. Separate proposals from completed work.
  3. Document test results against approved criteria. Do not declare conformity if criteria or evidence are missing.
  4. Record the release authority, restrictions and follow-up plan. Distinguish temporary from permanent repairs and record recurrence.

Fictional example

FICTIONAL: INT-DEMO-04; an identified connection was replaced under an approved work order. Verification testing is pending and the mold is not released. Part identity and compatibility must be recorded; this example specifies no actual spare part.

Scope and limitations

Not a welding, machining, assembly or pressure-test procedure. Those operations require specific authorized instructions.
